Same, I typed UNC, and thought "damn, is this the first year in history that UNC and Duke missed the tournament in the same year?" Didn't even think to type it out, given that pretty much nobody calls it anything other than UNC. (Doesn't matter that UNC Greensboro is in there--they don't go by UNC)
We have a large upset bonus in our family bracket pool. My (Joshua's) final is Gonzaga over Wisconsin and Rutgers and Florida State losing in the final four.
Fun every year. Would you consider forcing users to type "st" for the Aztecs? San Diego is the Toreros, and I think we have to type "st" for all the other state teams.
Nice. I (Joshua) went 24/32 in round one. Thankfully I didn't have Ohio State, Texas, or UVA go past the Sweet Sixteen and the only one of my Elite Eight that lost was Tennessee. Now I really just need Wisconsin and Rutgers to both pull off upsets, although the odds of that are quite low (8.17% according to 538)
I know right? Amazingly I was one of the few who got Syracuse and Loyola correct..... but my national runner up lost, so.... my bracket's kind of messed up
OMG ORAL ROBERTS! They are only the second 15 seed to make it to the sweet 16. I technically got that one correct, because I predicted Florida to lose.
Ok, Houston and Baylor have booked their spots in the final four. I just hope that my home team(Michigan) can pull of something special and beat Gonzaga and Baylor.
Oral Roberts is my pick to win March Madness 2021
