Honestly I'm not sure if some of those players are really being chased by both clubs. People seem to be linking good, young players (Haaland, Sancho) and some generally good players (Lewandowski, Grealish, Kane, Varane, Rice) to a lot of clubs. There's no way that any club buys that many players without selling a lot of players and so far I think only Giroud, Tomori, Abraham and Juan Mata are looking like they might leave.
I'd say United's overall team is good, however they need a centre-back (Lindelof is decent but he's not cup-winning material). I would say they need Varane
Chelsea's overall team is good too but, they maybe need a centre-defensive midfield (maybe Declan Rice) as he's a good young player and has chemistry with Mount.
Lindelöf isn't good enough. Maguire is good but it really showed when he was injured but he isn't enough to cover up Lindelöf's errors. I think that a good defensive midfielder would be important too - Pogba is basically forced out of the midfield by McTominay and Fred who can't play the role by themselves. Pogba not being in the midfield means that he's usually on the left wing, which is where Rashford usually plays, which forces him onto the right wing (it's a bit of a domino effect).
For Chelsea, I'm not sure that a defensive midfield is really needed. Kanté and Jorginho have done the job pretty well this season and the back 3 that Tuchel plays is good at preventing good shots (only 8 shots on target in the last 4 matches vs Man City, Leicester x2 and Aston Villa). I think a backup striker would be a good signing if Giroud and Abraham leave and I would maybe invest in another centre-back (considering that Thiago Silva and Azpilicueta are both getting old).
The match vs Villarreal was just very uninspired. I really think that the biggest mistake was not taking Rashford and de Gea off. Rashford is pretty clearly unfit and de Gea has a terrible track record with penalties whereas Henderson has saved 8 of his last 19.
Yes, he should have left Greenwood on as clearly he was playing much better than Rashford, however, he takes Greenwood off and leaves an unfit Rashford on.
Worse yet, he took Greenwood off for Fred. Rashford off for Fred would push Pogba onto the left, where he is still good but instead Rashford stayed on but was pushed onto the opposite side of the pitch. An injured Rashford plus Wan-Bissaka isn't a good combination in attack.
I'm not against Ole, by the way - he's achieved second and it really felt like United were a solid second for the last few months. He seems to be getting more out of players, especially Shaw, and I think that he can really inspire the team when he needs to.
I personally think that Emi Martinez should be in the team over Ederson because Villa don't have as good of a defence. Maguire should be in for Sontes and then I think Mount has had a better season than de Bruyne. Grealish could be on that left wing but I'd say that's more debatable.
I'd with a 4-3-3 because England only has two strikers (three if Watkins replaces Trent). Pickford seems to better for England than for Everton, then Walker, Stones, Maguire and Shaw in the defence. Midfield should be Rice, Henderson (if fit, Mount if not) and Foden, and then Grealish on the left, Sancho on the right and Kane up top.
To be honest Rashford has looked out of it for a while now. I don't think that he should be starting vs Croatia but I think that he probably will come off the bench a few times.
WHat footy team do you support?
(Sancho, Varane etc).

Havertz is actually on great form now and that assist from Mason Mount was really good.
YPOTY - Mason Mount, the Declan Rice
What are your opinions on PFA Team of the Season?
YPOTY - Phil Foden or Mason Mount. If Greenwood played good all season round, he could have been a possible contender.
Stones has had a great season, but Maguire has overall been better I think. The rest I agree with -
Ederson - Definitely
Cancelo, Dias, Shaw - 100%
Bruno, KDB, Gundogan - Of course
Salah, Kane, Son - Yes of course.
i'd go with Henderson, Trippier, Stones,Maguire,Shaw
Mount,Rice,Bellingham,Rashford,Kane,Sancho
