In the case of Wyoming, there is a dispute as to the tallest building in the state. Some sources say it is a dormitory at the University of Wyoming in Laramie, while others say it is an office building in Cheyenne. According to some sources, the dormitory is 200 feet tall, but according to others it is less than 150 feet tall. Based on my own research, I'm inclined to believe it's at the low end and that the office building in Cheyenne is actually the tallest in the state. The dorm has 12 floors, so in order for the dorm to be 200 feet tall, the average height of each floor would have to be nearly 17 feet, which seems unlikely for a college dormitory, especially in a place as cold as Laramie. Thus, this quiz treats the office building in Cheyenne as the tallest building in Wyoming.
