Banknotes of the Pound Sterling (£)

From the unit equal to 240 Anglo-Saxon silver pennies to the 4th most traded currency in the world, the Pound Sterling has had many faces to grace its notes - but how many can you name?
This quiz accepts the names of those who have appeared on banknotes since the publication of Series D (post-1970)
The notes to which these faces apply may not still be in circulation, but are still accepted - the Monarch is not included
Only accepts faces on notes from the Bank of England and the Bank of Clydesdale - some faces appear more than once
Some of these banknotes have been unveiled, bot not officially released
