Why not allow "Pip" for Peregrin Took and I thought the official term for the wild wolves was "wargs"?

Yeah could you accept Wargs? Also, are Balrogs not still maiar? And Greenleaf is not Legolas' surname, it is rather just a translation, and the two are only ever used once together by Gandalf as an epithet not a name.

I don't recall Tolkien ever calling the Wargs wild wolves. It should be wargs period.

He referred to them as Wild Wolves in The Hobbit when listing The Five Armies

You won't accept wargs? Nobody uses wild wolves! Pippin was Thain of the Shire, not Thrain.

Wargs should be accepted, but Tolkien referred to their official army as Wild Wolves in The Hobbit.
