Must legally be cities
Populations according to Australian Bureau of Statistics by most recent available data. Using urban areas if possible, if not, then city proper is used. If two cities share an urban area, their populations are separate.
Includes cities not recognized by the NSW Geographical Names Register
Some of the circles are a bit misleading but overall good quiz. Just a curiosity question but do you know why all LGAs that are "City of" in WA - mainly around Perth are legally cities but this is not the same for places in Melbourne or Sydney?
I found an error. Firstly, Coffs Harbour is in the wrong spot (it should be in NSW but the map has the dot in Queensland (north of Brisbane). Also, you forgot to add Port Macquarie (NSW), it has over 50,000 people. Please fix these errors.
