The Netherlands is the proper name for what you're calling Holland. Holland is a region with the Netherlands. And the overwhelming majority of British colonization in the Caribbean (which you've spelled wrong) occurred while England was part of the greater Kingdom of Great Britain (1707-1800) and the United Kingdom (1800-), so you should have that as your answer, accepting "UK", "Great Britain", and possibly "England." Also, it's conventional to accept people's last names as the answer, so you should adjust your type-ins accordingly.
Wow, you just slapped me right in the face. Please just accept the facts. It is not that simple just to get that worry off my chest than to FIX the WHOLE THING! BTW US is not a major colonizer of the Caribbean. I was talking about like 1750
Please accept last names. Having to type "Abe" Lincoln for the answer is ridiculous, especially when you don't accept his full name. Same goes for JFK. And I agree with the Netherlands statements mentioned in previous comments.
Wow. You are amazingly defensive. That's usually a sign of knowing you're wrong and not being able to admit it. And sure, I realize it's been 5 years. For some reason this quiz just popped up again and I saw the comments. I hope you've mellowed out since then.
you need to have 'Netherlands' for one of the colonisers. Holland is not a country. Holland is the name of two regions of the Netherlands, (North Holland and South Holland) and they did not colonise on their own - the Netherlands did.
Also, I tried 'Lincoln' and 'Abraham Lincoln' and it didn't accept either of them!
No you haven't. The only things that seems to be edited are the type-ins for The Netherlands and Abraham Lincoln, and not even correctly. Still have to type "The" in front of Netherlands and all names require first names. Also JFK for Kennedy should be accepted. It is also Caribbean instead of Carribean and you still only accept England as a type-in, but that entire group is wrong as more than four countries fall under it. For the colonisers, the USA has been pointed out in earlier comments but you are also missing Denmark. This quiz is still terrible and unplayable.
You are so wrong about the whole Netherlands conspiracy. IT IS TOO FORMAL for the 1,000,000th time!
Also, I tried 'Lincoln' and 'Abraham Lincoln' and it didn't accept either of them!
