Classical Music- Piano/Challenging

Name the composer given two of his perhaps less well known compositions for piano.
For less well-known composers, the hints are for their best known works.
I wish they were not all male. Alas, published women composers are not as yet well known. There is a quiz on JetPunk (not mine) with women composers. Check it out!
I will be surprised if anyone who is not a pianist can do well on this quiz, but please correct me if I am wrong!
I changed this to a yellow box so you can't just type in well-known composers!

Rage Over a Lost Penny? Lol. I'm going to have to look that one up.

A fun challenge. I did horribly. But it's given me the kick I need to get back into piano music. Thanks! Rec'd and nominated.

Thank you!! So glad you enjoyed it, and grateful for the nomination. I think it's a shame that as many thousands of quizzes that are on JetPunk, there is only one classical music quiz that is a featured one. Virtually by definition, this is not a "popular" topic, but I think it deserves attention.

Please take my other quizzes and tell me what you think.

I'm not a pianist and sure enough I did poorly. For a moment I thought I wouldn't get any right, but I'm pleased that I was able to recognize a couple songs and answer two questions correctly, both in the second column.

Good for you! I wasn't kidding when I suggested it was not an easy quiz. There are several entries that will likely challenge even serious pianists. I'm a big fan of Federico Mompou and encourage you to listen to some of his charming music....a little surprised that Griffes is at the bottom of the success list. I don't understand why MacDowell's name never appears in other classical music quizzes.

I hope you will try some of my other quizzes. They are less difficult.
