Panama Canal Zone

All questions deal with the Canal Zone from construction days until its transfer to Panama after the 1978 treaties. All place names are described as they were at that time. The very complex nature of U.S.-Panamanian relations is a very different subject. This is simply a "stroll down memory lane" for any jetpunkers out there who may have lived in the zone.
