Great quiz, maybe add ‘UN’ as a type-in?

Wondering if it's possible to also accept some other type-ins for this answer?

I understood what territory was being referred to, but wasn't clear what kind of answer you were looking for. I tried a bunch of things like "Buffer Zone," "Neutral Zone," "Green Line," several variants of "DMZ" and "Demilitarized Zone," and finally (scratching my head) "No Man's Land."

If you want to just stick with the UN because they are the administering body, I totally understand that rationale, but I hope you'll consider some alternate answers...

What is your source for Dall Island? I am interested in the border but can’t find any maps or articles on it.

I think it's more of a "de facto" thing than an island with an actual agreed-upon boundary on it.

Basically, Canada claims that the southernmost tip is Canadian, while the USA claims that the entire island is American.

De-facto, Canada "administers" the southern tip, but because the difference is minimal it's not a dispute that has (so far) had much practical fallout.

If you look at the sidebar on the Wikipedia page you'll see that both the USA and Canada are listed under "Administration."

Great quiz! I only have this feedback:

- Novaya Zemlya is a Russian island in the Arctic, I think you meant a different island.

- Can you accept TRNC for Northern Cyprus? (I know, only recognised by Turkey, but their official name is the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, like DPRK is used for North Korea).

- Your hint of one of them is not a country was not sufficient for me and most people that took this quiz as only 30% got that one right. Can you maybe replace this with, one of them is an International Organisation? Or another clue that makes this a bit clearer?

He wrote Nova Zemlya, not Novaya Zemlya which isn't even an island but an archipelago.

France and Spain share Pheasant Island in the Bidasao River which comprises the border between the two countries. Although it is shared on a six-monthly basis, with ownership switching to and fro.
