Nice quiz. Maybe allow "cards" for deck of cards. I tried that.

And I appreciate the ordering by length!

I've made it so that 'cards' will now work, along with 'stairs' and 'stairwell' for 'staircase'. Left the 'garbage truck' alone!

Thank you for your appreciation and feedback.

It's a good idea, but some of them have too many possible answers. For the "legs" one, I tried "stool," "chair," and "bench," which all fit the answer, and none worked. A cog has many teeth but can't bite. Debt gets bigger as more is taken away. The temperature goes up and down but doesn't move. Air fills a room but takes up no space. I'm not trying to be difficult here. These are all answers I tried that weren't accepted. Also you keep a disease after giving it to someone...but that is a bleak answer, so I'll stick with what you have.

Those are some good points. Just want to point out though that air takes up space, you can't compress air beyond a point for the reason that are is made up of molecules such as CO2, Oxygen, Nitrogen etc.

Could you at least offer “rubbish truck” as a type-in for us non-Americans who don’t use the word “garbage”‽

I'm not American, but I've never heard it being called anything but garbage truck

Well, I can definitely confirm that, here in Britain, I have only ever heard the word “garbage” (in any context) used by foreigners (be they actual Americans (or Australians), or East Asians who learnt American English rather than British English).

(Note that I am using “American” to refer to both continents, not just the one country.)

I call what goes in 'rubbish', 'waste' or 'recycling', but it feels unnatural at this point to call it a 'rubbish truck' because it just sounds like I'm being mean to the truck!

In New Zealand and Australia they are called rubbish trucks.

Someone requested a "spotlight" for you on JetPunk. There is a section you can get to from the front page which has a number of spotlighted quizzes. It helps get quizzes more noticed and (hopefully) more nominations.

Storm/tornado has one eye and can't see. After giving someone your name, you still keep it. You can break a record, but it's intangible.

I'm sure there are many like that! I'll add these ones.

A hurricane also has an eye but can't see. And you can give away more than just your name or word (a promise, a secret) without keeping it. These are not complete answers.
