On a serious note - I'm pretty sure that one word ends with two Ls and another starts with two Ls and because the words were smashed together, we have LLLL.
Maybe... TBH i don’t think that’s the reason, cuz this is in welsh, so spellings (and pronunciations) might be different than in English or Spanish or other languages
Well, it's both. In Welsh, Ll makes a Voiceless Alveolar Lateral Fricative, or <ɬ> sound. In simple terms, it's like a mix of "sh" and "l". So 2 of the Ls make one sound, meaning it's more like 2 letters. And the reason for the 2 pairs of letters being next to each other is because of them being in different words.
