Numbers retired by the Whalers (e.g. Rick Ley's #2) and the Nordiques (e.g. Peter Stastny's #26) are not recognized by the Hurricanes or Avalanche respectively.

Fixed the spelling errors, but I can't do anything about the teams retiring numbers for the fans. And if you're going to point out spelling errors, one of which was just a typo, you might want to check your own grammar, punctuation and syntax. Spelling was top notch though. :)
