Virginia and Pennsylvania are definitely within 30 miles of each other through West Virginia and Maryland. Maryland's panhandle is less than 2 miles thick at one point, and West Virginia's eastern panhandle is only about 10ish miles thick at nearly that same point.
Agreed w/ hobyandy--According to Google Maps, Virginia and Pennsylvania are just under 18 miles apart there. Also, I would question including the 4 corners states in here, as they are generally considered as bordering each other (i.e., if they are 0 miles apart, they border each other by definition). If you're going to include them, definitely add a caveat that you are considering that a border has to be more than a single point.
I will keep the 4 corners. Going off of other featured quizzes, some consider them to be borders and others don't. I think the fact that the quiz is about states that don't border and the distance from one state to the other is 0 miles should tip people off that these states have some mix of bordering and not bordering. Thanks for the suggestion though, and I will add the PA-VA pair.
