I can understand that a lot of people here are not the geo nerds, but in like three minutes most of people can type the all European countries. I am trying to avoid such situations.

Only territories southern of Danube can be considered as Balkan. And Moldova and Ukraine are at the northern shore.

Yeah...I always thought of the Balkans' land border to essentialy be the northern borders of post-WW2 Yugoslavia and interwar greater Romania

Besides surrounding seas, natural borders of Balkan Peninsula are two rivers, Danube and Sava.

Thanks - the Wikipedia article uses this same definition and then lists Hungary as "partially in Balkans". I can see it's not that close!

I like the quiz, but these percentages seem pretty silly and arbitrary. How can you try and accuratly define in numbers such a loose concept as what 'the balkans' is
