I can understand that a lot of people here are not the geo nerds, but in like three minutes most of people can type the all European countries. I am trying to avoid such situations.

Only territories southern of Danube can be considered as Balkan. And Moldova and Ukraine are at the northern shore.

Besides surrounding seas, natural borders of Balkan Peninsula are two rivers, Danube and Sava.

Thanks - the Wikipedia article uses this same definition and then lists Hungary as "partially in Balkans". I can see it's not that close!
