Very cool, however I think you should tone down the color a bit. Almost every country is very dark red or semi dark red, maybe add more variety to the color?

That is not something to be done immediately. I might do it in an update far in the future, as I would have to adjust every countries color. But thanks for feedback!

You can use the search option on Inkscape and search for "fill:#HEX" and it will select all paths with that colour. Then you can colour them all in at once. (nota bene: you have to select "property" or sth. below the search box.)
