By the way, I would take off the last two caveats as a recommendation. They appear as needy and unnecessary. Other than that, great job NeilVedwan, and great idea Kirby! A high quality SVG that depicts surrounding areas. Pandora made one as a very kind collaboration with me with a bit ago here. The map is of the same style. I've been starting to get into SVG's using a text editor - A horribly pore and vigorous program that made it take two months to make this hand-drawn map of Europe.
Oh, sorry guys, but this quiz already exists: https://www.jetpunk.com/quizzes/counties-of-england-quiz. It's featured but lower quality, you should ask QM if he could switch out the map.
Not bad, but I think you could be a bit more lenient with some of the answers. For instance, you could accept Kent for Kentish, Devon for Devonshire, Stoke or Stoke-on-Trent for Potteries, Manchester for Mancunian, Lancashire for Lancastrian, etc. Also, I can't figure out why on earth 'Coventry' is included as a distinct dialect on this map but Black Country isn't. The Black Country dialect is one of the most distinctive in the country!
Aghhh, I knew the County Durham one was something with "pit" in it but couldn't remember the exact name. My mum (who's from there) will be disappointed in me.
