This is very odd. For some reason this list ignores aboriginal/ melanesian cultures, Polynesian cultures, and most of Africa. I tried several Proto cultures, including "neolithic Chinese" and "Yangtze valley". The Xia really has no place on this kind of list either as the previously mentioned proto Chinese cultures are earlier. Indus Valley Civilization should be accepted for Harappa. How the Olmec, who post-date the Mississippi River Valley Mount Builders, made the list is beyond me. As is why the Minoans were chosen over other cultures of the same area. What source are you using that specifies these civilizations? I feel it's pretty outdated given the increased anthropological, linguistic, and archaeological knowledge in modern times.

The title clearly says "civilizations", not cultures. A culture cannot be considered as civilisation by just building farmer villages.

The ones I mentioned clearly meet the definitions of a civilization.
