The figures I used for this quiz are those from the 2016 census. Wexford town ranks 22nd in this listing with a population of 20,188. I agree that now in 2021 the population has probably increased, though there are no official figures as of yet, due to the postponed census.

Ireland's 21st largest town in the 2016 census was Celbridge in County Kildare. Population: 20,288. Very close to Wexford's population.
