Only the Wikipedia article says that, and the most populous countries article contradicts it, and has it at 92 million. Furthermore, most estimates have it from the high 80 millions to low 90 millions, so it is an outlier.
I wan't sure how big a city has to be to be a "megacity" - dictionary.com states it's a city with 1 million or more, and wikipedia says "typically" 10 million or more, but gives several other possible amounts. Maybe specify what number you're working with here?
I got 'em all right, so this isn't sour grapes, but there were a bunch in that list that are close enough that what really matters is someone's definition of urban/metropolitan areas.
In order to be a good quiz, this one should not include countries that are anywhere near the boundary line. One cannot possibly be expected to remember that the Philippines (111M) has more than 100M inhabitants while DR Congo (92M) does not, without looking it up. Similarly with the megacities. Is it your intention for people to look things up while they take this quiz?
In fact, Turkey (85M) and Germany (83M) currently do not have 100M inhabitants, per Wikipedia, though I can't say whether they did in April 2021. That just goes to show that it's not good design to include countries that are near the boundary. The quiz would be hard enough if it were only countries far from the boundary on either side.
