Great quiz but there's a small error with the J answer. Hitler didn't refuse to shake hands because of the colour of his skin. Hitler was only shaking German winners' hands on the first day but he was advised to either shake the hands of every winner or none. He opted to not shake any winners' hands.

What's depressing is that Roosevelt refused to shake J's hand on return to the US, he wasn't even invited to the White House with the other returning gold medalists. J writes about the situation in his book.

OK, I changed the question. According to Britannica, Hitler shook the hands of German and Finnish athletes, which sounds like an Aryan thing to me, but no need to go there. Thanks!
