Population of Copenhagen is actually 763,903. The ~1,2 million is the metro population which includes the population of Fredriksberg (which is a muncipality within the city of Copenhagen).

Thank you Skukka. Have now checked all the Nordic capital cities' most recent populations available in Wikipedia, and yes, they are a bit different from the earlier - Copenhagen especially.

BTW, your quizzes are great, and I congratulate you for your stars!

As for me, have now completed 100 Quizzes, which was my goal. These 100 have my home country - to celebrate Finland's 100 years of freedom - in one form or another in all of them.

Thanks again for your good comments.

Both Iceland and Finland have stronger ties with other Scandinavian countries than with any other group of countries - historically, language, values, way of life, and in many practical regards. Finland, Iceland, Denmark, Sweden, and Norway are also Nordic countries. If "Scandinavian" is an adjective, then they all are also Scandinavian. Many sources maintain the broad definition of Scandinavia includes the five countries. Geographically, Scandinavian peninsula includes Norway, Sweden, and northwestern Finland - not Denmark.

It happens that tomorrow morning I have a short flight from Helsinki to Oslo to meet someone in Sandvika, and will fly back tomorrow evening. As for me, it feels almost like domestic flight.

P.S. Seems you and I have both been to ca. 50 countries of the world. You plan to expand your visited country- selection still?

Hi Jonmarker; According to Wikipedia Frederiksberg has >92000 people - and Esbjerg >72000 - in the city. Let me know, if you have any numbers that would change the order of these two towns.

I think it's because Frederiksberg is always considered being part of Copenhagen, though being it's own munincipality..

It's the same with all the surrounding municipalities of Helsinki and Reykjavik here. It clearly says "not urban area" in the description so it's correct to list Frederiksberg.
