Once inhabited the western hills of Westeros but have been nearly hunted down to extinction; feline apex predators found in Westeros and other continents. Are featured prominently in Westerosi heraldry, such as the sigils of House Lannister, House Grandison and the extinct House Reyne.
Lion
One animal that the Dothraki have plenty of, they use them for battles, food and transportation; Knights use them in jousting tournaments
Horse
Used throughout the world to help their masters track down wild game or fugitives; (common house pet for us); Three of these are the sigil for House Clegane
Dog
Large predators found throughout the forests and mountains of Westeros and Essos. Distantly related to canines, they have stocky bodies, short tails, powerful jaws, and sharp claws; Sigil animal of House Mormont
Bear
Legendary, massive cephalopods that are said to stalk the world's oceans. They are largely held to be mythical, though sailors occasionally report seeing them; Sigil of House Greyjoy
Kraken
Basically a male deer; used as the sigil for House Baratheon
Stag
Name for a number of species of freshwater fish belonging to the genera Oncorhynchus, Salmo and Salvelinus, all of the subfamily Salmoninae of the family Salmonidae. Closely related to salmon and char; sigil of House Tully
Trout
Have thin tapered wings, which enable them to fly at high speed and to change direction rapidly; Sigil animal of House Arryn
Falcon
The type of bird that the Maesters of Westeros use to deliver messages from one castle to the other.
Raven
Large feline apex predator found in Westeros; known the stalk the Eastern Road; Tyrion mentions them in Season One and how if he were to escape he would probably be eaten by one; They are frequently found in wild mountainous areas, with particularly large populations of them in the inaccessible areas of the Mountains of the Moon in the Vale of Arryn. They are a frequent danger for travelers on the Eastern Road, crossing over the mountains into the Vale.[2]

Large carnivorous reptiles that live in the bogs and swamps of the Neck in Westeros. House Reed, the ruling house of the Crannogmen, employ them as their sigil
Lizard Lion
Mythological to the people of Westeros; said to roam the Shivering Sea and the White Waste. They are said to be larger than the dragons of Valyria and made out of living ice, with pale blue crystal eyes, vast translucent wings and very cold breath
Ice Dragon
A kind of carnivorous reptile, native to the jungles in the southern regions of far eastern Essos. They are venomous (even their blood), and their venom is a notable poison used in assassinations
Basilisk
They are similar to real-life polar bears, but much larger. Adapted to the cold climate of the far north, they have white pelts and can grow to massive size, with one described as thirteen feet tall.
Snow Bear
Legendary creatures spoken of in some accounts and tales about the White Walkers. They are supposedly the size of hounds; allegedly used by White Walkers in battle
