Indeed. I only got Ferrari at all because I knew it was a car company, so just put it in my opening salvo; if there’d been any sort of yellow box, I’d never have gotten it.
Then again, I’ve never been a car person myself, so I only got 10/20, and even that was more from just typing names than recognising anything!
This is too easy mainly because you can just throw guesses at it, since it doesn't highlight a single logo and require the user to type in only that name.
Must have been a European who left this comment. Notice how the Americans commenting that they have never seen a SEAT, Ferrari, Peugeot, Fiat, or Alfa Romeo car before (all are virtually never seen in the US) do so simply as an observation or as an aside, not as a snarky complaint, criticism, insult, or way of protesting their score?
Seems odd that you accept VW for Volkswagen, since the two letters are the actual logo. I understand why you accept it on other kinds of quizzes, but it might be a good idea to remove the type-in here.
Am I the only one who always thought it was "Alfa Romero"? I only got that one because I must have typed it in wrong (correctly) on my fifth or sixth try...
Just wondering why you kept the F for Ford but not for Fiat...I'm pretty sure Ford would get a higher percentage than Fiat even without the F. But hey, great quiz nevertheless!
GM only sell cars under the Buick brand in North America and the PRC, don't they? So it's not too surprising it gets beaten out by brands that are active across the globe.
I am sorry to be nitpicky, but it's maybe a bit of a stretch to say that Alfa Romeo is owned by Peugeot... Both brands are owned by the joint 50/50 merger between FIAT Chrysler and PSA, and under that umbrella are brands such as Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Citroën, Dodge, DS, Fiat, Jeep, Lancia, Maserati, Mopar, Opel, Peugeot, Ram, and Vauxhall.
I'm surprised more people know about SEAT and Peugeot than Buick and Corvette. Is Buick really that unpopular now? I've never heard of SEAT, it's the only one I didn't get in my 1st try.
(I'm in the USA so we don't have Peugeot and I don't think we have SEAT either)

Like everyone else, though, I thought that this was fun.
That's why we explicitly say that the answer could be a company, make, or model.
