REALLY surprised Egypt wasn't on the list, especially with most the surrounding countries being on it. And I was really surprised to see Kenya on there (but not Australia... I read years ago about that feral camel fiasco that happened).

Not sure about the sources. More than a million in Australia https://www.feralscan.org.au/camelscan/pagecontent.aspx?page=camel_largepopulations And Mongolia can't be right, there are not that many Bactrian camels left in the whole world.
