If we've decided on this site that Cote d'Ivoire should be known by its English name, should we also use Rich Coast?

No, because "Rich Coast" is not the widely used common denomination in English.

Nice test, although I don't quite agree with the definition of "native language" as used here. I think it's incorrect to say that Spanish or Portuguese are "native languages" of Argentina or Brazil (although they are indeed the native languages of most of the population).

I'd recommend changing them to actually native languages. That'll also help to make this part of the quiz a little harder (as it stands now they most of the South American countries are obvious giveaways)

Some suggestions: Paraguái (Paraguay in guaraní), Bulibiya (Bolivia in quechua), Piruw (Peru in quechua), Sranan (Surinamese), and Ayiti (Haiti in Haitian Creole).

My understanding is that Ayiti was the Taino (i.e. pre-Creole) name for the country or island which, rendered in French, became Haiti.

A lot of these are instant gimmes, I think you should randomise it

Bruh the South America one is too easy... WHY SPAIN AND PORTUGAL, WHY?

Great concept! I'm not sure that there's value to the ones that are identical in English, though. You might not need to include the Americas.

Haiti is spelled Haïti in French, and it's Ayiti in Creole.

I think Ayiti would be better for Haiti
