Cole Porter wrote Anything Goes for the musical of the same name, but I'm not sure I'd agree he is best known for recording it.

I wasn't aware the anybody else had recorded it, I remember the song from Fallout 3 and Cole Porter's version was the version they used. Thank you for your comment :)
