There are 12 cities, towns and villages in the region, how many can you name?

I forgot to touch on a couple things last quiz.

Population colours reflect growth rate! Green = growth, red = decline. Deep colours mean a change in at least 10%, while grey means a change by less than 1%.

The deep green do not reflect parks, but rather Indian reserves or First Nations Land created by numbered treaties.

I don't draw all highways, just the major ones! Just because there isn't a road going there on my map, doesn't mean you need a tractor to visit.

Thanks for playing, and join us next time when we leap from tree to tree and float down the mighty rivers of British Columbia :)

And didn’t knew Banff was so next to Calgary! Probably, my second favorite national park ever (losing for Lençóis Maranhenses, on Brazil 😎).

Don't worry about nominations, these quizzes aren't meant to get featured (they are just too specific)!

Banff is incredible. Lake Louise has these tea houses you can hike up to and that is the dream for me. A lot of tourists will stay in Calgary, and then travel into Banff for the day since it is so close.

Thanks for the support :D

I need to visit Banff. But I’ve never visited a single NP. Neither Serra do Cipó, or Serra do Gandarela, which are less than 100km if distance 😑🙄 Let’s start with what you can firstly...

Banff is like Yellowstone in a US comparison.

I have been to 3 National Parks, Grand Canyon, Cuyahoga Valley, and Shenandoah.

Nice, they must have been beautiful. Yoho and Pacific Rim in Canada are some other national parks I've been to and highly recommend :)

You can see more about them at my BNP blogs. And good point. Yellowstone is my third one. And I remembered, I’ve visited Nahuel Huapi National Park in Bariloche, Argentina, when I was 1. I can remember that I went to the homonym lake, and is such a relevant and gorgeous place. Probably would there be a National Park. At least 1.

I have also been to All the Historical Sites in DC and NYC, and I will add Gettysburg National Battlefield and Historical park to it in 1 week.

After seeing a documentary, I can confirm Glacier National Park, in Montana, is the third one.
