Tianzi Mountain is in Zhangjiajie which should be further north on the map

Nitpicking here, but Shanghai (and Beijing/Guangzhou/Tianjin) isn't a province - it's called a Municipality Nice quiz though - these map quizzes are getting better and better.

This is mental. I got 23 of them, beat 95% but only got 4 stars. How can people know so much in detail about China?

The Gobi desert itself is actually further to the east and doesn't reach Kazakhstan. Other deserts might still stretch to all the areas shown, though.

I was thinking the Talkimakan desert is where you put the Gobi and the Gobi Desert actually covers more of Inner Mongolia. Great quiz, though.

Good quiz. I probably would have put Sichuan instead of Hubei. What's Hubei famous for?

Now, in 2020, more people will probably recognize Hubei.

Shouldn't Jiaodong instead of Shandong also be accepted?

tbh Kailash and especially Tianzi could be replaced with more significant ones, especially as so few people are getting them rn? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sacred_Mountains_of_China Taishan (the one from which lots of emigrants came from), Shaoshan (Mao's birthplace) and Longmen could be ideas too

Kailash is extremely important in both Buddhism and Hinduism and deserves to be here. Tianzi is niche but a tourist spot nontheless, so I'm keeping both. And places such as Shaoshan are quite obscure unless you are very familiar with Mao Zedong.

Great quiz, love the map! One small detail that could be fixed: Tianzi is located too far south on this map from its actual location. It’s very close to Zhangjiajie near Hubei and the Yangtze.

I think you should also accept the Chinese name (pinyin) for some of these e.g huang, neimenggu etc.
