I'm pretty sure this quiz accepted NorthBorneo previously but now it only takes NorthKalimantan. It still accepts Borneo for all the others but no longer for North? or am I imagining...

I just checked the Largest Indonesian Islands quiz and interestingly I typed in Kalimantan for the first time ever and it switched to Borneo. An excellent job of training lazy people like me to get the difference between an island name and a region.

and now it's changed back... Borneo works for all again.

Good Quiz. As a hint to everyone else, typing directions followed by the Islands gets you a lot of them(and Borneo= Kalimantan in Indonesia)

Actually Kalimantan is the name for the Indonesian part of Borneo. Borneo is the whole island including the Malaysian part and the Brunei part.

Man, I really wish that every country could name their subdivisions the way Indonesia does :)

Haha, so you wish that all the countries become unimaginative?

Or you could do it like Bolivia where it almost is enough to know the biggest cities.

Indonesia added three new provinces, Highland Papua, Central Papua, and South Papua at the end of June.

That is correct although the changes are too recent for me to implement them just yet (hopefully soon).

Because I know nothing about Indonesia's provinces, I thank them for their generous use of cardinal directions. Somehow managed a 21.

"Sumatera Utara" is a type-in for Riau instead of North Sumatra.

Also, "Sumatera Barat", "Sumatera Selatan" and "Kalimantan Tengah" are not properly accepted.

Seconded:

Sumatera Utara for North Sumatra, not Riau

Sumatera Barat for West Sumatra

Sumatera Selatan for South Sumatra

Kalimantan Tengah for Central Kalimantan
