I've highlighted certain elevated regions, please note they don't represent the borders of mountain chains.
Some of the grey settlements are so obscure that I couldn't find population stats. In fact, I had to cut a Kyrgystani settlement because I found no evidence it even exists. The highest settlement in the US is Alma, at 3,560 m (11,680 ft), which I exchanged for better known Aspen.
Seqetat Bota, Mulia and Kurush are the highest settlements in Africa, Oceania and Europe respectively, while Trepalle and Cabramurra are the highest in the EU and Australia.
I find these cities/settlements somewhat amazing, and maybe one day I'll make it to a 4000+ metre settlement.
