It didn't. Although Hitler did want to take over Vatican City, but he didn't get to it.

Where is Turkey? Both Britain and Germany made strenuous efforts to coax Turkey to enter the war, in vain.

Turkey joined the war at the last minute.

Turkey joined after most of Greece and Yugoslavia had been re-taken over by the Allies. They helped recapture land all the way to Bavaria.

guinea got it's independence in 1958 angola in 1975 cape verde in 1975 mozambique in 1975 how can countries that didn't even exist back then be considered neutral?

It says modern countries. As in countries that exist now which didn't exist then. As parts of the Portuguese Empire, Cape Verde, Angola, Mozambique and Guinea Bissau were neutral.

Why is Cabo Verde not accepted but Cape Verde?
