Really mixed up. For some countries it uses the official language, for some the colonial language, for some the most spoken language.

For some (eg south sudan) it is none of these!

Thanks for the feedback. According to the website I used, all of the answers are accurate. I went back and individually checked them all, and they were all correct.

Also, the official language of a is not necessarily the language spoken by the people of the country. For example, Nigeria's official language is English, but only about half of the population speaks it; everyone else speaks Hausa, Igbo, Yoruba, and various other languages.

It's actually pretty easy, even to guess. Most of the countries have either English, French, Arabic or Portuguese as an official language even if not a widely spoken one. Knowing where the countries are helps too. IE, North Africa is mostly Arabic speaking, west Africa mostly French.

yes many mistakes... Madagascar speaks Malagasy though, not Magsaysay!

I thought the language spoken in Botswana was called Tswana.

Wiki says it's Tswana in English, and Setswana in Tswana. So Tswana should indeed also be accepted
