The question on "Largest sea in the world outside the oceans" is poorly phrased. The South China Sea is generally considered to be part of the Pacific Ocean, the Caspian Sea is not considered to be part of any Ocean and your question naturally leads the reader to consider a sea not generally considered to be part of the Ocean (such as the Caspian Sea, Aral Sea etc). Could you please rephrase the question?

Strong agree with @RhymingCouplet. The question didn't make a lot of sense to me. I also went for Caspian, then Mediterranean (thinking the mouth at the Straits of Gibraltar might be what made it "outside the ocean").

Failing that, I just started spamming the box with every large sea I could think of, and so fairly quickly got it, but not because I actually understood what the question was trying to ask. (And after reading a bunch of Wiki articles I'm still not sure I do.)

Maybe phrase it as "Largest sea in the world by surface area (oceans excluded)"

I can type South China and that is good for South China Sea, I can type Angel and that is good for Angel Falls, I can type Everest or Etna and that is good for Mt Everest or Mt Etna but I cannot type Panama for Isthmus of Panama, that should change

Just a quick Wikipedia check tells me that the South China Sea has an area of 3.5 million sq. km but the Philippine Sea has an area of 5 million sq. km. Quizmaster might want to double check that.
