Good example of needing to be more skilled in inner-country geography. I'm quite good at international geography, and would have shouted bible-belt at this immediatly....but knowing the inner map of the U.S. and its state names would've helped. (for context, i'm not American, Dutch though).

Gotta admit i was surprised Utah wasn't in there. Only had 5 answers right.

I just deleted a bunch of ignorant and annoying comments. Whatever your opinion on religion or politics, we ask that you express it politely or not at all. This is not Twitter.

I am the creator of this quiz and also a Mormon! The interesting thing about Utah is that a majority of religious people are Mormon but there is not much religious diversity like you find in other states on this list. Not all Mormons live in Utah either I am from the east coast, and actually, a majority of Mormons live outside of the United States.

That's because the American South has the highest density of pirate ghosts in the United States.

People tend to be poorer because they're frequently robbed by the pirate ghosts, and people tend to believe in an afterlife and be more spiritual because of all the ghosts floating around.

That explains everything!

A bit like the Beer Monkey - whenever I go out drinking, I wake up to discover that the damn beer monkey has bashed me over the head, stolen fifty quid from my wallet whilst leaving something unpleasant in my mouth.
