Fill in the four most populous cities of each Country in Europe. No Agglomerations or Metropolregions or Municipality - just Inhabitants of the City itself.
Source: In almost all cases Wikipedia. I tried to get Data as up to date as possible for me.
This is my first Quiz - so please excuse, if there are some rookie-mistakes.
I hope you enjoy this - I think - very challenging task. Maybe this quiz is only for real Nerds.
Thank you - NigelS and MustardCustard - for your very helpful response. I fixed the quiz - especially the German Spellings, and put in much more different spellings. I hope, it works better now.
If you are only using the cities proper population, then this is quite tricky for the UK because the city proper population for the City of London is only about 8000. "London" as most people call it is described by Wikipedia as a metropolis or metropolitan area. If you really wanted to stick to the cities proper for the UK the list would be Birmingham, Leeds, Glasgow, Sheffield.
You're surely right, but such deep studies to each City would exeed my capacities. So I just tried to find Data, which excluded the inclusion of regions around the main City.
One thing: you should allow alternative spellings: Gomel, Mogliev, Shkoder, Kharkiv, etc. otherwise it's almost impossible to get a good start.
Kohtla-Järve,
Heraklion,
Milan,
Naples,
Liepaja,
Jelgava,
Kharkiv, and
Dnipro(petrovsk)
due to typos and/or the quiz not accepting the English spellings. There are probably others that I didn't notice, too.
Thanks for your response
