Warmblood is not a horse breed. The horse you are counting as a warmblood is actually a Missouri Fox Trotter.

I agree, warmblood is a type rather than a breed, but breeds that are classed as warmbloods include Dutch Warmblood, Selle Francais, etc.

That definitely isn't a Missouri Fox Trotter though! It's Gribaldi, an Olympic dressage horse - and he's a Trakehner (a type of warmblood).

Hey duckling07 you know if you agree with me and you know its a Trakehner then why dont you change it? This is your quiz! Plus a cob is a category not a breed, that is a Gypsy Vanner, that I know of for sure!

Gypsy Vanner is very American and not a term heard in Europe - they are cobs, occasionally called gypsy cobs, and are usually a jumble of many different breeds over the years! Hence, type.

I left the picture of Gribaldi as a warmblood as it would be very difficult for people to guess he was a Trakehner - most warmbloods have very similar characteristics so it would be hard to tell by looks that he was a Trakehner and not a Dutch Warmblood etc.

Well, then they shouldn't take the quiz then if they know nothing of horses, and at least exempt Gypsy or Gypsy Vanner because here in America that is what we call them. Exempt Trakehner as well, thankyou.

I will change it so that if somebody types Trakehner for the photo of Gribaldi that will also be accepted, and Gypsy Vanner for the cob.

In addition to the comments already made, how exactly would someone recognize a Shetland pony from a headshot? Overall, not a very good quiz and the quizmaster shouldn't get offended when people offer constructive criticism. Instead, improve the quiz based on the feedback.
