Good quiz. I got the correct city for the purple box with the first question and used it all the way through. So satisfying when that happens.

Thanks. I guess you mean Wichita Falls in Texas? Hard question anyway, I could have found Harrisburg or Tallahassee but not the others, including Ithaca.

Oh yes Wichita Falls, thanks. I was looking at the typeins and forgot you only need to type Wichita for that.

I tried Wichita as a wild guess, thinking it could never be accepted . Didn't even know there was a Wichita Falls!

I’m so dumb. I spent so long trying to figure out why Portland worked for coastal cities XD totally forgot that there’s one in Maine...

Virginia Beach works for a coastal metro area but not for a city east of the Mississippi.

Phoenix AZ

metro pop: 4.8 million (>250,000)

not coastal

elev: 1086 ft (>1000)

borders Saguaro National Park

...therefore should be a final answer for the first category

+2
Level 67
Oct 30, 2020
No, Saguaro national park is about 10.5 miles south of Pinal county, so no Phoenix doesn't count.

Looking at google maps. Saguaro N.P. borders Tucson. I don't see where it borders Phoenix.

Maybe a minor quibble, but the metro area where Dallas is located is known as "Dallas-Fort Worth," not just "Dallas," which would make it contain an h and be suitable as an answer to some of the top right category's questions.
