This would mean that Delhi is the world's largest city. The Wikipedia page for Delhi doesn't seem to claim that. And on the Wikipedia page for "List of largest cities", Delhi doesn't come out first in City Proper Population (losing out to Chongqing) or in Metropolitan Population (losing out to Tokyo) or in Urban Area Population (losing out to Tokyo again).
