Abolished Provinces of Italy

Name the Provinces of Italy that no longer exist.
These provinces ceased to exist. This could be due to their territories no longer being part of Italy, merging into another province, or being replaced by a different kind of administrative division.
Hint: In most cases, the provinces take the name of their capital.
Sardinian provinces are currently undergoing a reform process initiated in 2021. However, as of 2023, the new reforms have not yet taken effect.
