The last question and answer. This is a quiz forum, not a place to make political statements. While I might agree with you that the whole practice of taking a live animal, hacking off its dorsal fin and throwing it back in the water to try to survive is morally reprehensible, there are millions of people in the Far East who do not. I think it better to just ask the questions and look for the answers without the commentary. Otherwise IMHO ask another question.

Very well, I shall remove morally reprehensible if it's really not appropriate. I certainly wasn't trying to make a political statement. Thank you, I hope you enjoyed the rest of the quiz ^_^

Upon further review I've decided to re-add morally reprehensible, for the simple fact that millions upon millions of sharks are mutilated every year while still alive and then thrown back into the sea in order to sate an exponentially unsustainable and environmentally catastrophic meal that is nothing more than a status symbol. If you don't like it then you don't have to take the quiz and you can go ahead and make your own soup quiz. It is my duty and the duty of all of us to bear in mind animal suffering and environmental rape and prioritise that over upsetting someone's delicate sensibilities over a politically charged quiz hint on a page that has garnered less than 50 takes in 3years. We could easily live in a world where a quiz on soup is purely about the difference between broth and bisque, or we could use it as an opportunity to raise awareness of an issue that has indirect but potentially major consequences for us all. At least then I will have a clear conscience and no regrets.
