I guess Brazil would be a lot higher if mixed people with indigenous blood were counted.

Agree that Brazil should be higher. Also surprised at the high number for the USA, given the government's concerted efforts to wipe them out.

United States is mainly because the country is simply so big.

After travelling throughout Brazil I can tell you that the Native population is mostly found in the North and to a lesser extent the central states like Mato Grosso. If you go to most of the larger cities like Rio, Sao Paulo, Brasilia, etc you find a lot of Whites and Blacks but not a lot of Natives.
