I had no idea on that one, either. My granddaughters don't talk about him. (Got Olivia and Xavi by guessing, but none of the Z names worked for me - I even tried Zinedine.)
I knew most, there were a couple that I took a guess and got them but came to Z and said who is that? I had to look him up and still question who's that? Definitely doesn't fit with the rest shown.
zoe saldana, zelda fitzgerald, zsa zsa gabor, mao zedong, zebediah springfield, zachary quinto, zachary taylor (president or power ranger), zac ephron.. lots of alternatives for z
I don't see anyone complaining about the inclusion of Kirk Douglas or Judy Garland, both of whom are less guessed currently than Zayn Malik. I think this might be an age-related thing. Zayn was part of One Direction and is now a successful solo artist.
I didn't get that one but knew who it was when I saw the name. Makes sense to have a couple people who have become famous more recently like him and Taylor Swift. A 15 year old doing this quiz would likely know them a lot better than Judy Garland or kirk douglas
M is a fictional character in Ian Fleming's James Bond book and film series; the character is the Head of the Secret Intelligence Service—also known as MI6—and is Bond's superior.
Considering 10 of them have been dead for at least 20 years, which 3 of the remaining 16 are going to remembered? Is it Bowie, Reagan, Gagarin or Sinatra?
No its not but this quiz happens to have mostly white people. Would you say the same thing if it was all black or asians instead? If you really have a problem with that for some reason, make your own quiz.
Louis Armstrong is "white," now? When you went to Tajikistan did you criticize them for being too white, too? Is this really the best thing you have to be preoccupied with?
No, but people who live in predominantly white countries, in a world dominated by "white culture" (quotes for crude concepts), are more likely to know white people. If this quiz went with 18% "Chinese", 17% "Indian" and 4% "Indonesian" faces (not that this is mathematically possible), it would be approximately representative of the world population but absolutely not representative of the average Jetpunker's knowledge. In a few decades, or whenever political and cultural hegenomy has shifted, white people might be expected to recognize lots of famous Chinese people.
Can everyone just stop complaining about Zayn? It's okay that you may not know him but a lot of people do and there might be more famous people with a Z but still..... I really liked this quiz :)
For anyone looking for a younger person's (22yo male) perspective on the inclusion of Zayn Malik: I got him without having to think at all, lol. The people I didn't recognize on this quiz were Kirk, Sophia, and Patrick. I also missed Judy Garland and Michael Bloomberg but I definitely know them (I would've got Judy had she been in Dorothy's costume, and I chalk up missing Mike to the astonishing difference in hairlines from the photo in the quiz to the time of his 2020 campaign). I happened to guess Olivia and Xavi but I don't know them either. Older celebrities aren't my strong suit but, hey, at least I knew Boris.
Thanks bro

Xavi Hernández. who is mostly known as Xavi because he didn't play with his last name on the back of his shirt.
He played for Barcelona and the Spanish national team.
