Love the quiz idea and thought the first one was fantastic. But some of the clues on this one aren't quite so literal. Thinking especially of Ray Charles, Blue Oyster Cult, The Bangles, The Who, and Poison. I know you've got that caveat at the top, but I think what you accomplished with #1, where every clue *was* literal, was a heck of a lot more impressive.
But would be not impressive at all for the quizzers that take it. If it is literal then it is just guess the picture, and you wouldnt have to have any knowledge of the existence of the songs at all.
I think it's okay that there's plenty of time. Some might be hard (I got 12/18 and don't think I can guess more) and some people like to try to figure them out, it's great they have the time. It's not like the country quizzes where given the time you can type out every country there is.
Agree with sillie. It's nice to relax and think about it. I don't see the harm in having lavish time on the clock. It's not like we can keep typing song titles and get them by chance.
What, no complaints yet of OMG more people know miley cyrus than (insert any of the lower guessed answers) ?!!!! What is this world coming to !! this is what is wrong with the world today !!
(with a lot more caps and exclamation points, but I thought I'd spare you those)
I am willing to bet that the percentage is so low on the Poison song because everyone is putting in "Every Rose has a thorn" instead of "Every Rose has its thorn"
Love that movie, and used to love the soundtrack, too. I don't feel guilty about it, either. Hilarious flick, sometimes unfairly panned. Likely Keanu Reeve's best work ever.
Not a criticism, but Amy Grant did "Big Yellow Taxi," too, in case people want to go back and listen. I totally forgot about the Counting Crows version (from my high school days).
Didn't scroll down to look at the band name, so I was sure the road sign one was "Turn, Turn, Turn" by the Byrds. I had to guess it, though, because I wasn't familiar with the actual song.
Glad I didn't do like you and hit "Give Up" too early.
Great quiz!
