I was suprised about this too but even though algeria is way less dense than algeria, the average density is about 12. If the quiz calculated the average of the densities instead of the density of the combined population and area, things would be a lot different.

I was confused about the system at first.

Why wouldn't you make pairings of both countries "place" on a population density list and look for the smallest combined number?

Instead of taking area into account, and therefore have one country influence another countries spot.
