I have to disagree. As a person who bakes 3 times a week at least (not even joking), I frequently use lemons (although I absolutely love lemon cakes) and chocolate was more implying cocoa powder (which is an acceptable type-in) because any kind of chocolate baking requires cocoa.
Sprinkles are decoration but are still common in baking, and ginger is used for mostly savoury and biscuit baking.
I guess Cakes have gone through a huge change trying to becoming more Indic (^~^;)ゞ
We like to put a lot of fruits instead of Chocolate and even when making Chocolate cake we mostly go with Cocoa Powder. We don't use ginger hitherto making a specific Ginger flavoured or spiced cake. Most of us even use Sunflower oil instead of Butter.
Though since I've start making professional authentic British cakes, I do understand the necessity of Lemon, Sprinkles and Chocolate

Glad you enjoyed it regardless though :)

I didn't add as a typein because it's much longer than sprinkles!
