Great quiz. Nice novel idea and good mix of famous people.
As someone who is constantly flummoxed by American sport questions, kudos for picking a sports person from a game played more global than the major US sports.
I don't think so. He is famous and has arguably been the most influential tennis player of all time (just because he's not a president or musician doesn't make him trivial). If you're saying that Roger seems out of place one could argue as well that Rowling is out of place
That was the direction I was going too - I thought William Holden but now that you mention it Robert Mitchum is closer - don't look now, but I think our age is showing. Wouldn't have come up with Walt Disney in a 1000 years.
I had 10/15 presley took me a second look. I like most people knew the last one was tennisplayer, but could only think of about 2-3 male names. Steve jobs looked familiar, I tried trudeau.
nteresting how quickly we can recognize people. (though some comments are surprising to me, like that they saw other in michael jackson and morgan freeman for mandela, even if I try I cant see anything else in it)
The only one I missed was number 11, I guesed Julia Roberts, Dakota Fanning, Elle Fanning, Miley Cyrus, Princess Diana, Jennifer Lawrence, Lady Gaga, Madonna, and Meryl Streep, only to be denied.
The Harry Potter/Lord of the Rings curse strikes again! 14-of-15. Only missed Rowling. You could've put her entire face there, and I still wouldn't have known. :-(
Please accept 'Windsor' for Queen Elizabeth II. It is her British surname. It should be there because for the other celebrities you can just name the last name, which should be the same for Queen Elizabeth II please.
Very good. Like the fact both Rowling and Disney are really difficult but still get-able for approx 1/5th of people. A good level of toughness PS they were the only 2 I didn't get! Well done Stewart, thanks
Wow - somehow I got them all right! I'm usually rubbish at pictures of famous faces. Maybe I need to just look at the forehead and ignore the rest of the face to work out who someone is!

For Rowling, I guessed Meryl Streep and Jane Goodall.
For Disney, I guessed Al Capone (don't really know what he looks like, but that's who came to mind... maybe it just seemed like the right time period)

Fun quiz!
I need more of these!
For some reason I was sure his last name had a double-L and couldn't figure out why that photo wasn't Nelson Mandela.
Fun quiz, thanks.
