For question 9, I would specify greater maximum elevation since Colorado has the highest average elevation and Alaska has the higher maximum elevation. I like this quiz idea though :)

I'd clarify a bit you're talking *presidential* elections in the Connecticut vs. Maryland one. Maryland has a Republican governor as we speak and Connecticut hasn't had one in 10 years.
