Haha! Excellent! To be honest, habitually, I am not a huge fan of picture quizzes, but you got me with this one, with very clever and interesting cultural references. I was so happy to see there my three favourite books saga, and one of my favourite Pixar movies. Nominated!
I didn't realize until watching a documentary on Jurassic Park that that particular set of doors was copied almost exactly from the original King Kong. I thought it was a funny throw away line, but it was actually to pay homage to the original design.
How come for 10 Downing Street, it's not the street asked for, not the city, and even England isn't accepted; whereas for the US ones it's the specific building? I know this comment is misliked on JetPunk, but that does make it very US-biased
What confused me about the cluing is that the question is asking for a "Street." Happy to be corrected if my American understanding is wrong, but it seems to me that "Downing Street" is the street, while "10 Downing Street" is the street address. If you want the latter to be the answer, perhaps consider cluing it as asking for an "Address" rather than a "Street." Great quiz!
I tried "Congress" for the Capitol Building, as I couldn't remember what the building's official name was. Didn't count, haha. But I knew what building it was from!
