1.) There are 5, groups with 6, 5, 4, 3 and 2 countries each.
2.) No hints are given except for the number of countries in each group.
3.) Guess the common attribute based on the number of countries in the group.
4.) Sort each country into its correct group
5.) Countries falling under one group will not fall under any other group
6.) Conversely, all countries fall under some group
All my answers were correct, but different to yours. Of the listed countries, there are 6 in Africa, 5 in Europe, 4 starting with C, 3 in North America (Jet Punk continents), and 2 starting with V.
No one would come up with these groups. It seemed like they would be something obvious like belonging to the same continent, or all being island nations. I certainly wasn't going to come up with Winter Olympic hosts!
I felt it would have been too simple had the choices been obvious. I don't know if I went a bit overboard in making sure that the answers weren't obvious. Could have used easier groups if more tiles were allowed, but the max number of tiles allowed is 25.
This test have tons of "correct" answers. Without any further indications, it's just a matter of luck to come up with the criteria that you are asking.
Holy moley, this is impossible! I was nowhere near it, would never have guessed those. Funnily enough, languages occured to me, but I thought: Uzbek, Korean....it can't be that.
This was tons of fun, loved it. "Winter olympic hosts" seemed unnecessarily obscure for my taste, never would've guessed it, and I don't think you need to specify "other than Portugal" in the category, since Portugal isn't even on the list
